KOSTA VANGJELI, over 150 red-and-white matches / The Korça native with 10,000 minutes for Skënderbeu Korçë

Undoubtedly, Skënderbeu Korçë, by securing promotion to the Superliga at the end of this season, is now counting the achievements of a season that was not easy and was highly competitive, in the First Division, which is often considered even more “intense” than the Superliga.

The success of promotion belongs to everyone, but within this major achievement, one player in particular stands out.

This is Kosta Vangjeli, the defender who can be considered one of the longest-serving players in Skënderbeu’s red-and-white shirt, having reached the milestone of 150 appearances for the club.

He has also worn the captain’s armband, remaining loyal to the team since he came through the ranks in 2017 with the club’s youth system.

Later, in 2019, he joined the senior team of Skënderbeu Korçë, and since then he has only worn this shirt. 10,000 minutes in red and white are certainly not few, gaining valuable experience even though he is still about to turn 26 years old.

It has been a positive season for Vangjeli as a starter, and he is expected to remain with Skënderbeu Korçë next season as well, especially as he is one of the few players from Korça alongside Klevis Shaqe and Dejvid Janaqi who continue to represent their hometown club.

A strong appreciation at the end of this season for Vangjeli, wishing him a long and successful career with his hometown team.
