Latest news: Arrest in Bulgarec, legal proceedings in Korçë, Devoll, and Zvezdë
Korçë Local Police Directorate reports several recent incidents leading to arrests and criminal proceedings in various areas of the region:
In Bulgarec, 40-year-old M. L. was arrested in flagrante delicto after crashing a parked car while driving under the influence of alcohol.
In Zvezdë, a criminal proceeding was initiated against 62-year-old S. R., who was caught driving a motorcycle without a license.
In Devoll, proceedings were initiated against 28-year-old A. B., who lost control of his car, causing it to veer off the road. Both the driver and his underage nephew, who was a passenger, sustained minor injuries.
Also in Devoll, 34-year-old N. Z. from the village of Arrëz is under investigation for illegally transporting a quantity of cut timber. The timber was seized as material evidence.
In Korçë, police are investigating a report by 58-year-old I. B. from Shamoll, who reported missing cash from his home. Initial investigations found no signs of forced entry or disturbances. Authorities are working to verify the case.
All procedural materials have been referred to the Prosecutor’s Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Korçë for further action.
