Leksi Lazi / The electrician hero who risked his life amid the storm and heavy snowfall!

The electrician seen in the photo is named Leksi Lazi. He climbed to the top of a pole about 15 meters high, risking his life amid the storm and heavy snowfall, in order to repair faults in the electrical network.

He continued to carry out his duty without hesitation, risking his own life to ensure electricity supply for the community, serving as an example of dedication and responsibility that often goes unnoticed.

The bad weather that affected Kolonjë in the Korçë region caused power outages in several areas. Due to the difficult weather conditions, in some parts of the Municipality of Kolonjë electrical poles were damaged and broken, and crossarms were also damaged.

Meanwhile, on the Ersekë–Rehovë road axis, problems emerged as a result of fallen trees. Firefighters from Kolonjë intervened to clear the road, which is now passable without any issues.
