Maliq/ Criminal proceedings initiated for the illegal transport of timber

Crime Investigation Specialists at the Maliq Police Station have referred the case to the Prosecutor’s Office and initiated criminal proceedings against citizen G. P., 30 years old, resident of the village of Mesmal.

He was caught transporting 8 cubic meters of timber, suspected to have been illegally cut. The timber was seized as material evidence, while investigations are ongoing to fully document the case.

Procedural materials have been forwarded to the Prosecutor’s Office for further action.
