“May this day be a source of peace and joy!” Begaj and Rama convey Christmas greetings

This Christmas morning, Prime Minister Edi Rama shared a greeting, wishing Albanian citizens a Merry Christmas with a special message on social media.

He accompanied the greeting with an image taken from the frontispiece of Pjetër Bogdani’s monumental work, “Çeta e Profetëve” (The Band of the Prophets):

“Good morning, and with this image taken from the frontispiece of Pjetër Bogdani’s monumental work, ‘Çeta e Profetëve,’ I wish you a Merry Christmas,” Rama wrote.

A greeting was also shared by President Bajram Begaj through a post on the X platform, where he wrote: “Merry Christmas, full of hope and prosperity for all our Christian friends! May this Christmas be a source of peace and joy, as well as an opportunity to spend happy moments with your loved ones.”
