Korçë – Minor indicted for deliberately injuring another teenager with a glass in a bar.

A teenage girl has been officially indicted by the Prosecutor’s Office in Korçë after assaulting another girl with a glass inside a bar, causing minor bodily injuries.

The investigation against the 17-year-old suspect, F.D., has been concluded, and she now faces charges of “Intentional Minor Injury.”

According to the prosecution’s file, F.D. struck 18-year-old P.M. without provocation or any prior verbal exchange, while both were present at the same venue. The attack was carried out with a water glass, resulting in light injuries to the victim.

"...the defendant F.D., 17 years old, struck citizen P.M., 18 years old, in an unprovoked manner and without any communication at the moment of the attack, using a glass from a distance, causing minor injuries. She then attempted to strike her a second time with another glass and immediately fled the scene,” the prosecution stated in its report submitted to the court.

The case was reported to Korçë police, and following procedural steps and a forensic examination, the prosecution concluded that the minor committed the offense of “Intentional Minor Injury” and was formally indicted.

In the coming days, the Korçë District Court is expected to review the case in order to assess the circumstances and the minor’s criminal responsibility.
