Missing since April 2, 16‑year‑old from Korça, Anxhelo Abidini, has been found in Durrës

This Thursday, 16-year-old Anxhelo Abidini from Korça, who had been missing since April 2, was found in the city of Durrës. He had left his home under mysterious circumstances and had not returned since.

It was the Durrës police who located Anxhelo Abidini. He is in good health and is currently at the Korça police station along with his family.

The teenager’s parents had reported his disappearance to the media, suspecting that he had left home due to issues with the police. He had been involved in a theft in Korça along with a 30-year-old man who is currently in prison. The minor had been sentenced to probation for his role in the crime.

This is not the first time Anxhelo Abidini has left home. He had done the same in December 2024, around the time the Korça Prosecutor’s Office concluded its investigation into the crime he had committed. At that time, he was missing for five days before returning.
