Monika Kryemadhi appeared this Monday at SPAK for the mandatory appearance measure that the Supreme Court (GJKKO) has imposed on her, as an accused in the “Meta” case.
The former wife of Ilir Meta is accused of passive corruption of high-ranking state officials in 2 cases, money laundering, and failure to declare assets.
Meanwhile, Meta is under investigation by SPAK for corruption in 3 different cases, 2 of which were committed in collaboration.
The former president is accused of passive corruption of high-ranking or elected officials.
Monika Kryemadhi left the Special Prosecution offices a few minutes ago.
She joked with journalists, asking, “And you are still here today?” referring to the November holiday break.
As she left, she added: “If we don’t see each other, see you next year.”
