A serious criminal case in Lushnjë has ended with justice being served.


The 34-year-old Laert Hasalla, a resident of the village of Garunjas, has been sentenced by the Fier Court to 25 years in prison for “Murder under aggravating circumstances”, remaining at the attempt stage.


In 2023, he had ordered the killing of citizen M. H. and had paid another individual, M. M., to carry out the armed attack on the victim’s vehicle.


As a result of the gunfire, a woman traveling in the same vehicle, B. S., was injured. The verdict was enforced by Specialists for the Investigation of Serious Crimes at the Fier Local Police Directorate, bringing closure to this grave act of violence.

Specialists for the Investigation of Serious Crimes at the Fier Local Police Directorate enforced the decision of the Fier Court, which sentenced citizen L. H., 34 years old, resident of the village of Garunjas, Lushnjë, to 25 years in prison for the criminal offense of “Murder under aggravating circumstances”, remaining at the attempt stage.


This individual had been under the security measure of “House Arrest”, as he was suspected of having ordered the murder of citizen M. H. in 2023.


Investigations revealed that L. H. had paid citizen M. M., 31 years old (currently convicted), who fired a firearm at a vehicle with the intent to kill citizen M. H.


As a result of the shooting, citizen B. S., who was traveling in the same vehicle as M. H., was injured.
