State Police / Cooperation continues with counterparts, within the framework of the operation "The Wanted".

Attempted to kill a citizen in Korçë in February 2025 — 39-year-old caught in Greece and arrested for the purpose of extradition to Albania.

As a result of cooperation between the structures of the Albanian State Police and their Greek counterparts, within the framework of the operation codenamed “The Wanted,” aimed at securing and exchanging information about the whereabouts of internationally wanted individuals, it was possible to locate, apprehend, and arrest in Greece — for the purpose of extradition to Albania — the citizen:

D. M. alias D. M., 39 years old.

This individual was declared internationally wanted after the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Korçë, with the decision dated 09.02.2025, assigned the security measure “Arrest in prison” for the criminal offense of “Intentional murder,” remaining in attempt.

Citizen D. M. is accused of having attempted to kill citizen E. Sh., 40 years old, on 04.02.2025 in the city of Korçë, by stabbing him with a sharp object (knife).

Interpol Tirana and Interpol Athens will carry out the procedures for this individual's extradition to Albania.
