New details have emerged from the crime that took place last night in Shkodër, where a 34-year-old man with the initials K.K. was cold-bloodedly executed near a bar in the Cinema area.

According to sources from the investigative team, it is suspected that the killing was carried out by a hired assassin and that it was a carefully planned and mafia-style execution. Shkodër police confirmed that the perpetrators have not yet been identified, while no investigative lead has been ruled out.

Preliminary testimonies indicate that two individuals dressed in black and riding a motorcycle followed the victim’s movements for several minutes. Initially, they left the area but later returned to carry out the assassination at the moment when the 34-year-old exited the bar and was heading toward his car.

This maneuver is believed to have been part of a well-organized plan by the perpetrators, who are thought to have been professionals. The victim, K.K., had no criminal record and, according to sources, was not under pursuit or surveillance by law enforcement. He lived and worked in Shkodër, where together with his father he owned a construction company. Most recently, their firm had been engaged in the reconstruction of the city’s Cinema, located right across from where the murder took place.

The investigative team, in cooperation with the Shkodër Prosecutor’s Office, continues work to fully clarify the incident. Police are analyzing security cameras and reviewing the victim’s last movements in an attempt to identify the perpetrators and the possible motive behind this event, which has deeply shaken public opinion.

The murder occurred in one of the city’s busiest areas, with a constant police presence, making the brazen execution even more serious and concerning.
