Korçë Local Police Directorate
The Road Traffic Sector arrested in flagrante K. B., 54, resident of Bilisht, after he allegedly lost control of his vehicle while driving under the influence of alcohol, causing the car to leave the road. The driver was injured and is receiving treatment at Korçë Hospital.
Additionally, materials were referred to the Prosecutor’s Office, initiating criminal proceedings for:
S. B., 42, resident of Tirana, who allegedly lost control of her vehicle on the “Korçë-Ersekë” road, causing the car to leave the road. Both the driver and a passenger were injured and are being treated at Korçë Hospital.
J. Xh., 47, resident of Korçë, whose vehicle collided with a motorcycle driven by G. K., who sustained minor injuries.
The Korçë Police Commissariat also referred materials to the Prosecutor’s Office, initiating criminal proceedings for:
E. H., 55, resident of Korçë, suspected of committing violence against his mother, who obtained a protection order.
A. R., 42, resident of Korçë, who physically conflicted with M. M. over minor motives.
J. P., 46, resident of Korçë, suspected of stealing the cellphone of an 83-year-old.
The Pogradec Police Commissariat referred materials to the Prosecutor’s Office, initiating criminal proceedings for:
G. R., 45, resident of Pogradec, suspected of damaging the tires of E. M.’s vehicle on August 21, 2025, in neighborhood no. 4, Pogradec.
A. D., 27; D. D., 44; and E. D., 27, residents of Hudënisht and Memëlisht, Pogradec, suspected of physically confronting M. M., 34, resident of Tushemisht, over minor motives in Tushemisht.
The Maliq Police Commissariat referred materials to the Prosecutor’s Office, initiating criminal proceedings for:
V. T., 63, resident of Libonik, for operating an excavator on a piece of land near the Devoll River without proper authorization.
All procedural materials have been handed over to the Prosecutor’s Office at the Korçë Court of First Instance for further action.
