Specialists of the Section for Trafficking Investigations detained citizen E. Sh., 41 years old, resident of Elbasan, who was stopped by Border Police at Rinas, as the Korçë Court of Appeals had sentenced him to 1 year, 10 months and 27 days in prison for the criminal offense of “Assistance for illegal border crossing”.

Specialists of the Road Traffic Sector referred the case files to the Prosecutor’s Office, where criminal proceedings began against citizen G. M., 40 years old, resident of Ersekë, who, while driving on the “Korçë–Ersekë” road axis, lost control of the vehicle, causing it to veer off the road. The driver sustained minor injuries.

Officers of the Korçë Police Station referred the case files to the Prosecutor’s Office, initiating criminal proceedings against citizens G. M., 46 years old, and A. H., 62 years old, residents of Korçë, after betting websites were found during the inspection of their mobile phones. The phones were seized as material evidence.

Officers of the Pogradec Police Station referred the case files to the Prosecutor’s Office, initiating criminal proceedings against citizens E. Ç., 39, and B. H., 42, residents of Korçë, who are suspected of punching a 34-year-old man over weak motives.

Officers of the Kolonjë Police Station referred the case files to the Prosecutor’s Office, initiating criminal proceedings against citizens F. C., 55, and N. Q., 48, who allegedly harassed a 49-year-old woman multiple times with phone calls.

Specialists of the Crime Investigation Sector of DVKM Korçë referred the case files to the Prosecutor’s Office, initiating criminal proceedings against citizens L. P., 41, resident of Pogradec, and R. M., 36, resident of Librazhd, for the criminal offense of “Illegal border crossing”.

The procedural materials were forwarded to the Prosecutor’s Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction, Korçë, for further action.
