POLICE: "Pokeri" operation, 3 people are arrested, 16 others are being processed at large, 1 in

Pogradec / The coded police operation "Pokeri" is completed.

The operation, conducted by the Pogradec Police Station, to crack down on the illegal organization of gambling.

20 citizens who engaged in this illegal activity are being prosecuted, of which 3 were arrested in the act, 1 was declared wanted and 16 others are at large.

The wanted citizen possessed the environment adapted to the organization of illegal games.

A poker table, chips, gambling cards, 4 cell phones and a sum of money were seized.

Following the work for the control of the territory and various premises, in order to prevent, highlight and attack illegality, based on the information provided by the police intelligence, the services of the Pogradec Police Station organized and finalized the coded police operation "Pokeri". As a result of this operation, the following citizens were arrested in the act:

-A. P., 48 years old, resident of Pogradec;

-E. M., 30 years old, resident of Vërdovë village, Pogradec;

-E. M., 29 years old, resident of Bulgarec village, Korça.

Citizen K. V., 46 years old, a resident of Pogradec, was also declared wanted, and the materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office, where the criminal proceedings for 16 other citizens began.

Police Services, during the control exercised in neighborhood no. 3, Pogradec, in the premises (warehouse) owned by the citizen K. V., which he had adapted and made available for the organization of illegal games, caught the 3 citizens arrested organizing this illegal activity and the other 16 citizens, playing poker.

As material evidence, 1 poker table, chips, gambling cards, 4 mobile phones and sums in Lek and Euro, which were allegedly profited from this illegal activity, were seized. On the part of the Police, work is continuing to capture the citizen K. V.

The materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of Korçë General Jurisdiction, for further action.
