Police: Young man prosecuted for smashing municipality windows – incidents in Korçë and Kolonjë, girl reported missing in Pogradec

Crime Investigation Specialists at the Korçë Police Station referred the case to the Prosecutor’s Office, initiating criminal proceedings against citizen K.D., 27 years old, resident of Korçë, after he allegedly threw stones and broke the windows of the Korçë Municipality building at around 02:15.

Crime Investigation Specialists at the Kolonjë Police Station referred the case to the Prosecutor’s Office, initiating criminal proceedings against a 17-year-old, suspected of punching a 14-year-old in the face over minor motives.

On August 2, 2025, at the Pogradec Police Station, citizen B.B., 41 years old, resident of the village Çezmë, reported that on August 1, 2025, his underage daughter left their home. Efforts are underway to locate her.

Road Traffic Sector specialists referred the case to the Prosecutor’s Office, initiating criminal proceedings against citizen R.P., 30 years old, resident of Korçë, after he lost control of his vehicle, which veered off the road. As a result, the 30-year-old was injured and is currently receiving medical treatment in hospital, out of life-threatening danger.
