Published 111 photos and videos with shameful content online, Prosecutor’s Office sends one person to trial

The Fier Prosecutor’s Office has completed its investigation and has sent to trial a person accused of distributing and storing sexual content involving minors on several social media platforms.

According to the prosecution, the individual, identified by the initials I.M., allegedly shared a total of 111 photos and videos with sexual content involving minors on platforms such as “Mobile Streaming,” “TikTok,” and “Pinterest.com.”

At the request of the Prosecutor’s Office, the Court approved a personal and home search of the suspect, as well as the seizure of two smartphones, allowing access to the data stored on them.

Technical-computer expertise on the seized devices revealed 30 videos and 125 images containing child pornography involving minors aged 10–12.

Investigations indicate that the materials were obtained from various sources, including chat communications, internet browsing, and the “Telegram” app, from which most of the content is believed to have been downloaded.
