The icon of Albanian football, the pride of Korça!During his football career, he scored 26 goals while playing in defensive roles, represented Albania in 36 international matches, played 18 matches with the Albanian national team, 15 matches with Partizani, and 3 with the Korça team.Teodor Vaso was born on September 15, 1941, in the city of serenades, in Korça. Teodor Vaso, the hero of the Albanian national team, will be remembered for the match in 1967, where he played for 30 minutes with a broken and swollen leg against the Federal Republic of Germany.The great player would become a well-known figure in Albanian football, as his background was undeniable. He started his career as an athlete in 1955 and later moved to football with Dinamo’s team. He then joined Partizani, and finally Skënderbeu.
