SCANDAL / A landslide blocks the road, alarming situation in Qukës–Qafë Plloçë, just two months after inauguration

A massive landslide of soil and rocks has been reported on the Qukës–Qafë Plloçë road near the tunnels.

It is reported that heavy rainfall caused a large section of the mountain to break away, completely blocking the road. The maintenance contractor has been forced to set up a temporary bypass to allow vehicles to pass.

This is the most serious problem caused by landslides on this road so far, and authorities are expected to take measures to reopen the route.
