Scandal: Five police officers accused of blackmail and abuse against a citizen who sought help for stolen money

A serious scandal has shaken the city of Tetovo, where five police officers have been implicated in a case of abuse and blackmail against a female citizen from Bosnia. The incident has raised serious concerns about abuse of power and the lack of ethics within law enforcement structures.

According to the woman’s testimony, everything began after she reported a theft of money. One of the police officers approached her, promising to help recover the stolen funds. However, instead of assistance, the situation took a frightening turn.

The officer, along with four colleagues, forced the woman to remain in a bar that operated as a café-music venue, where she was isolated and threatened. Instead of fulfilling their duty to protect and safeguard citizens, they used their position to exert pressure and abuse her trust.

The case has provoked strong public reactions, prompting calls for thorough investigations and harsh punishment for those involved. Law enforcement authorities have been urged to ensure that the perpetrators face justice, in order to restore citizens’ trust in the police.
