Serious accident in Korçë, driver was under the influence of alcohol; one person injured

Cases of accidents caused by drivers under the influence of alcohol have increased recently, unfortunately also resulting in fatalities.

The latest incident occurred in Korçë, where a 48-year-old man driving drunk crashed into another vehicle, luckily this time without fatal consequences. Reports say that a female passenger was injured.

“U.S., 48 years old, resident of Durrës, was escorted to the police station after the vehicle he was driving under the influence of alcohol collided with another vehicle driven by citizen A.S., 40 years old. As a result of the collision, a passenger traveling in the 40-year-old’s car was slightly injured,” police announced.
