Serious incident: 26-year-old daughter kills father; together with mother, they reported it as an accidental event

A serious incident occurred yesterday in Fier, where a daughter killed her father.

According to the police, 26-year-old Emanila Rama is suspected of killing her father, and then, with the help of her mother, they reported it as an accidental event.

Police announcement:

As a result of professional and rapid investigations conducted by specialists from the Serious Crimes Investigation Section of the Fier Local Police Directorate, in cooperation with the Fier Prosecutor’s Office, following the report from citizen E. R., 26 years old, around 11:00 PM on July 23, 2025, stating that her father, citizen A. R., 56 years old, had died accidentally at their home in the village of Frashër, the operation called “Inskenimi” (“Staging”) was finalized.

During the deposition of the 26-year-old and initial investigative actions, police services suspected that the death of the 56-year-old was not accidental, and for this reason, they continued with in-depth investigations.

During these actions, carried out in coordination with the Fier Prosecutor’s Office, it was established that E. R. killed her father, A. R., for trivial motives, using a strangulation device (strangled with a wire).
