Shocking confession: Man admits to killing and burying his parents in the yard / “I was just doing my duty,” he tells in TV interview

A man has confessed in a television interview that he killed his parents and buried them in their yard in New York eight years ago. He was immediately arrested by authorities after leaving the TV studio.

The shocking testimony of 53-year-old Lorenz Kraus came a day after police reported discovering two bodies in a house in Albany, as part of an investigation that revealed his parents were still receiving Social Security payments despite not being seen for years.

Kraus contacted the local station CBS6 and gave a half-hour interview, in which he described the killings of his elderly parents.

Initially, Kraus did not admit to the murders, but later confessed after being asked several times by the journalist. He claimed that his parents did not ask him to kill them, but “they knew they were approaching the end.”

After eight minutes into the interview, Kraus stated that he had suffocated both of them.

“I was doing my duty to my parents,” he said.
