Snowfall in Pogradec, thickness exceeds 5 cm

Snowfall began in the early morning hours in Pogradec. According to data so far, in this area the snow thickness has exceeded 5 cm.

Snowplow vehicles have been on the ground since the beginning of the snowfall, clearing the roads and spreading salt and gravel.

So far, traffic on this road segment is moving without problems; however, drivers are advised to be equipped with winter tires and to reduce their speed, avoiding risky maneuvers in some cases.

During the night, temperatures in this area dropped to -6 degrees, and this morning temperatures continue to remain low.

Snowfall is present in all areas at altitudes above 1000 meters above sea level.
