Suspension from duty and travel ban / Balluku faces the court

On Saturday at 09:00, Belinda Balluku will appear before the Special Court to be informed about the security measures imposed against her. Currently, Balluku faces suspension from duty and a travel ban, while two of her subordinates have been placed under house arrest.

The Special Court announced the session with this official statement:

“We inform you that at the Special First Instance Court for Corruption and Organized Crime, on November 22, 2025, at 09:00, a court session will be held for questioning and verification of the conditions and criteria for the imposition of measures and the security needs for the defendants Belinda Balluku, Gentian Gjyli, and Erald Elezi, within the framework of criminal proceeding no. 136 of 2025, by the Special Prosecution against Corruption and Organized Crime.”
