The collapse of the Librazhd–Pogradec road axis, drivers upset: A goat path, a disaster! Instead of 3 hours, we now make it in 6

Due to the collapse of the road in the area known as Arrat e Gurrës, there are now two alternative routes for vehicle movement: Spathar–Dardhë, as well as Gramsh–Moglicë–Lozhan.

On the Spathar–Dardhë axis, Report Tv visited the village where, from the investigation carried out, a large number of vehicles were observed. For their own reasons, they were traveling from the southeast toward Elbasan or Tirana, while some emigrants were also heading to Greece.

“This is a goat path. Turning a 3-hour trip into 6 hours…,” says an emigrant returning from Peqin to Greece, who does not hide his concern about safety.

Drivers express frustration over the negligence of the authorities. They say the road takes much longer than usual and is also difficult to navigate.

“The road is extremely obstructive for us. The other road should have been completed first, then this one,” says one of them. “A complete disaster! We’re ruining our tires, we’re destroying our cars! A disaster!” adds another.

One of the drivers says that on this road “not even a horse can pass.”
