The friendship between Korçë and Chambéry

The friendship between Korçë and Chambéry is deepening every day through concrete cooperation and cultural exchanges with lasting value.

I had the pleasure of welcoming to Korçë the Mayor of Chambéry, Thierry Repentin, and the French Ambassador to Albania, Catherine Suard, as part of the French Week taking place in our city.

Their visit further strengthened the relations between our two twin cities, giving us the opportunity to share up close a rich artistic program that turned Korçë into a vibrant stage for contemporary art and European cultural dialogue.

Exhibitions, digital installations, artistic performances, and modern music—all of these demonstrate that culture is the most beautiful bridge we can build between our communities.

Korçë remains a hospitable, energetic city, always open to collaborations that enrich it and connect it more strongly with the world.
