Prime Minister Rama has again addressed salaries and pensions for 2026, promising a historic increase and describing the year as starting “on the right foot” for Albanians.

“We have been attentive to citizens, addressing their detailed requests through public hearings on the upcoming year’s budget—a year that begins on the right foot for Albanians regarding income, primarily salaries and pensions, as well as public investments, all of which together will mark a historic increase. Albania is now on a different level.

This is a fact that will become more tangible every year in the daily lives of our people—those who work in the public or private sector, the daily lives of our pensioners, grandparents, and those in need, for whom support and social protection continue to grow.

Those who gave us extraordinary trust with 83 mandates, unprecedented support for Albania 2030, not only deserve more each year, but will continue to receive more every year, as the debt we owe them motivates us to keep improving our work,” Rama stated.
