They deceived foreign citizens into investing in fake stock markets; the manager of the Call Center and two employees have been arrested

Tirana Police Directorate / The police operation codenamed “Wrong Call” has been completed.

In Selitë, authorities discovered a premises set up as a call center, where foreign citizens were being deceived via phone calls into investing in fake stock markets.

During the police intervention, five individuals were caught in the act carrying out this illegal activity.

Three of them (the manager and two employees) were arrested, while two female employees were criminally prosecuted.

Additionally, two individuals who had rented the premises for this purpose have been identified and are now wanted by the authorities.
