Time change: Clocks go back 60 minutes next weekend

As with every year, the switch from summer time to winter time will take place on the last Sunday of October.

This year, the change will happen on the morning of Sunday, October 26.

At 04:00, the clocks will be turned back one hour, returning to 03:00. This means one extra hour of sleep for everyone.

The time change is applied in all European Union countries as part of a joint energy-saving policy.

However, the debate over abolishing this system is still ongoing, and although it has been discussed for years, no final decision has yet been made.
