A serious incident has been recorded in Savona, Italy, where a 22-year-old woman lost her life in an accident while crossing the road.

Local media report that she was hit by a truck and became trapped under its wheels. Rescue efforts were immediate, but there was nothing that could be done for the young student.

The 22-year-old was crossing the street when she was struck by the truck. The circumstances are still under investigation, but according to some witnesses, the girl was crossing on the pedestrian crossing while the traffic light was green.

After hitting her, the driver dragged her for several meters, as he did not realize that he had struck her. Meanwhile, police have arrested the driver, and investigations are ongoing to fully clarify the incident.
