TRAGIC / Fire claims the life of an elderly woman in a nursing home! Four people hospitalized

An 87-year-old woman has died, and four others suffered smoke inhalation following a fire at a nursing home in Torrita Tiberina, on the outskirts of Rome.

A total of 16 residents were in the facility when the flames broke out during the night, causing panic among the elderly and the staff.

The fire prompted a response from several firefighting teams, who managed to evacuate the residents along with emergency personnel. Four of them were taken to the hospital for medical checks after inhaling significant amounts of smoke.
