Tragic incident / The missing young child is found, but passes away

A serious incident shook the afternoon yesterday in Gadime of Lipjan, where the young child Zejn Zejnullahu, who had been reported missing by his family, was found after several hours of searching, but unfortunately passed away.

According to information, the minor did not return home after finishing school, which alarmed family members and local residents, who began searching for him. The case was also reported to the police, and after several hours, the child was found and urgently transported to the University Clinical Center of Kosovo for medical treatment.

Initially, the commander of the Lipjan Police Station, Brahim Shatrolli, had confirmed that the child was found with signs of life and was being treated in hospital. However, a few hours later it was announced that he did not survive.

The news of the minor’s death was confirmed by the doctor on duty, Dafina Basholli. “The patient was admitted without signs of life. Despite resuscitation measures, he did not make it,” she stated.

The minor is suspected to have been swept away by the river current in the village of Gadime after leaving school.
