Transfers in Korçë Police, leadership of Devoll Commissariat changes

The first leadership movements within the Korçë District Police have been formalized today.

Sources from the Korçë Local Police Directorate report that the head of the Devoll Police Commissariat has been transferred to lead the Peqin Police Commissariat.

In his place, Deputy Commissioner Bilbil Lita has been appointed as the new head of the Devoll Police Commissariat. Until now, he had served as the head of the Peqin Police Commissariat.

This exchange of duties between the two leaders was formalized this morning at the Korçë Police Directorate, in the presence of local police officials.

It is still unclear whether this is just the first step in a wider reorganization expected to include other police structures in southeastern Albania.
