Vangjel Thomollari, a lifetime in the service of people. Happy 80th birthday, doctor.

Vangjel Thomollari was born on February 14, 1946, in Rehovë. He completed his medical studies in Tirana and, in 1969, returned to Ersekë, where he served as a doctor until 2019, dedicating a full 50 years to the health of the community.

He remains one of the most distinguished physicians of Kolonjë and the Korçë region. His name was synonymous with accuracy and professionalism, and as director of the Ersekë Hospital he contributed to its reconstruction and modernization.

Widely respected for his professionalism and human values, Dr. Vangjel was also passionate about art and sports, always close to the cultural life of the city.

Vangjel Thomollari remains one of the most honored figures and one of the strong roots of Kolonjë.
