Vehicle catches fire while moving on the “Pogradec–Qafë Thanë” road

An incident was reported on the “Pogradec–Qafë Thanë” road where a moving “Benz” vehicle caught fire under unclear circumstances. The vehicle was driven by citizen V. Ç., who fortunately managed to escape quickly and was not injured.

According to initial information, the fire is suspected to have been caused by a technical defect in the vehicle; however, investigative actions are ongoing to precisely determine the circumstances of the incident.

As a result of the fire, only material damage was caused to the vehicle, while firefighting services and Road Police intervened promptly to extinguish the flames and ensure traffic safety in the area.

The investigative team is present at the scene and is working to fully document the cause of the incident.
