The last week of September has started with clear skies and high temperatures across the country, but significant changes are expected from Wednesday, warns meteorologist Hakil Osmani.

According to him, Monday and Tuesday will be dominated by clear skies and long intervals of sunshine, while the coastal areas will experience stable weather. In the mountainous regions, only light cloud cover is expected.

From Wednesday, the first isolated showers are anticipated in the western areas, while on Thursday, rainfall will be more concentrated in the eastern part of the country. On Friday and Saturday, rain will become more frequent nationwide, especially in the north, where short heavy showers are possible. Sunday is expected to bring rain mainly to the south, while the rest of the country will see slight improvement in weather conditions.

“In the rest of the territory, rainfall will be lighter,” Osmani emphasized.

Meanwhile, Sunday is expected to have rain mainly in the southern part of the country, while other areas will experience a slight improvement in atmospheric conditions.

The meteorologist noted that this early week will be characterized by high temperatures.

“On Tuesday, temperatures are expected to reach up to 33 degrees Celsius. From Wednesday onward, temperatures will gradually drop, reaching a maximum of 30 degrees Celsius in lowland areas and around 8–9 degrees Celsius in mountainous regions by Friday,” Osmani said.

Regarding the wind, he warned that “on Friday and over the weekend, the wind will be problematic in some areas, with speeds potentially reaching up to 55 km/h for short intervals.”

Weather conditions are also expected to change in the region. According to Osmani, “in Kosovo and North Macedonia, clear weather is expected until Thursday, but starting Friday, rain will appear due to increased cloudiness and higher humidity in the air,” said Hakil Osmani.
