When the good ones leave, pain has no words – Farewell, Physical Education Professor

We were deeply shaken by the news of the passing of our dear colleague and friend, Arben Mato.

A physical education teacher, former player of the Pogradec basketball team, and a dedicated coach for the youth groups in the sport he loved so much. From a young age, Arben worked wholeheartedly to instill a love of basketball in children — a passion that accompanied him throughout his life.

This year, he completed his career and retired — a period he deserved to enjoy with peace and dignity, but fate had other plans.

We will miss you as a colleague, a friend, and a human being. Your unique humor and lively jokes will remain an unforgettable memory for all of us.

Rest in peace, professor.
