Pogradeci continues to stun everyone from match to match, as today’s 0-3 victory in the capital against Partizani confirmed that the team from Pogradec will indeed be serious contenders this season and a tough “bone” to chew for all other teams. Today’s win can be considered a major achievement, even though it came in the Albanian Cup. Beating Partizani 0-3 in the capital is no easy feat, but Pogradeci turned this into reality, securing a victory of great significance.

First Set:

The first set of the match was a marathon, requiring multiple extra points at its conclusion. The set began with ties at 1-1, 3-3, and 8-8, with Pogradeci occasionally taking the lead. Scores like 11-13 and 15-17 reflect their advantage, although the set remained balanced near its end at 21-21. A 24-24 tie was followed by two extra points. Pogradeci edged ahead at 24-25 but was quickly tied again at 25-25. The battle for points continued, with Pogradeci maintaining slim leads, until the set finally concluded at 28-30 in their favor, giving the visitors a 0-1 lead.

Second Set:

The second set boosted the morale of the Pogradeci players, who played with even more confidence. After leading 4-5 and a brief tie at 6-6, the game was firmly in Pogradeci’s control. With scores like 11-13, 12-15, and 14-20, it became evident that Partizani struggled to keep up in this set. Pogradeci closed it at 15-25, bringing the overall score to 0-2.

Third Set:

The third and final set was a mirror image of the second. The initial balance at 7-7 was short-lived, as Pogradeci surged ahead with scores of 9-16 and 11-19, eventually closing the set at 15-25 and sealing the match at 0-3.

This was a tremendous and fantastic victory for Pogradeci, who absolutely deserve the highest praise for this extraordinary performance. Congratulations to the girls from the lakeside city!
