Just one week later, on January 10, 2026, Albanian teams will take the field for the first matches of the New Year, with the two southeastern teams, Skënderbeu and Pogradeci, kicking off the year in the Albanian Cup.
On January 10, all matches of the second round of the Albanian Cup will be played, with eight fixtures in total: Skënderbeu will play in the capital against Tirana, while Pogradeci will face Vllaznia in Shkodër.
Skënderbeu is holding its first training session of the year today in Durrës, while Pogradeci is training in its hometown by the lake.
