The customs points at Kakavija and Kapshtica on the Greece–Albania border will operate for extended hours starting October 14, the Greek Independent Authority for Public Revenue (AADE) announced.
The extension aims to improve cross-border movement, facilitate trade, and ensure smoother commercial flows between the two countries.
As part of the adjustment, the new schedule will specifically apply to the processing of empty trucks. During the summer period (April 1 to October 31), the checkpoints will remain open from 22:00 to midnight, while in the winter period (November 1 to March 31), the extended hours will be from 21:00 to 23:00.
