Arben Dervishi, born in 1963 in the Korçë region, is one of the most prominent actors of Albanian comedy. After completing his studies at the Academy of Arts in 1988, he became part of the Professional Estrada of Korçë, where he quickly stood out as one of the leading actors on stage.

Throughout his career, he has performed in over 100 roles in sketches and comedy shows such as “Why Not Laugh,” “Ear to Ear,” “The City of Dreams,” and many others, creating unforgettable characters with a distinctive style full of energy and comic finesse. He stood out for his ability to bring everyday life figures to the stage with sharp and original humor.

He has also played successful roles in comedies such as “Jovan Bregu the Refugee” and “Miss 39 Years Old,” and became widely known to the public through his participation in “Portokalli.”

Since the early 2000s, he has been living in the United States, somewhat distancing himself from the Albanian stage, but he remains a very beloved and irreplaceable figure of Albanian humor.

Happy 100 more years, master! We are looking forward to seeing you soon on the Korçë stage, where you truly belong.
