Korçë / Farewell ceremony for Father Kristaq Viso, Archbishop Joani also attends

On Tuesday, the funeral ceremony was held for the late Father Kristaq Viso, who passed away the day before.

The ceremony was attended by the Archbishop of Tirana, Durrës, and all of Albania, His Eminence Joan Pelushi, who led the service, bringing with him a deep sense of respect and gratitude for the life and work of Father Kristaq.

The ceremony took place in the presence of believers, friends, fellow clergy, and representatives of local authorities.

He was a beloved and respected figure in the Orthodox community of the area, where he served for many years with dedication, humility, and love for the people.

After the service concluded, Father Kristaq Viso’s body was escorted with honors to his final resting place in the side courtyard of the church in the village of Çiflig, Korçë.

Kristaq Viso had fallen accidentally from the roof of the Holy Trinity Church about two weeks ago.
