POLICE / 40-year-old man arrested in Korçë. Here’s what happened!

The Section for the Investigation of Illegal Trafficking, in cooperation with the Special Operational Force of Korçë Police, continuing efforts to crack down on criminal activity involving assisting foreign nationals to cross the border illegally for profit, based on information obtained through operational channels, arrested in flagrante delicto the citizen:
B. M., 40, resident of Korçë, for the criminal offense of “Assisting illegal border crossing.”
He was caught near the village of Boboshticë, driving a Nissan vehicle, transporting migrants from Egypt for a fee of 600 euros per person, promising them passage and transport to their final destination, Italy.
To avoid suspicion and bypass police checks, the 40-year-old would take only one migrant at a time in his vehicle for each trip.
