Smuggling of sports products, AFF sends public message to the General Directorate of Customs

The Albanian Football Association (AFF) has been notified by the General Directorate of Customs about another successful operation in the fight against the smuggling of sports products bearing the AFF’s protected logos and trademarks.

The AFF welcomes this intervention and publicly thanks the Directorate of Customs for their dedication and professionalism in identifying and stopping counterfeit products, which seriously violate intellectual property rights and harm the legitimate revenues of Albanian sport.

The sale and distribution of official products is an important source of income for the development of football, from grassroots levels to the national teams. Therefore, every effort to protect this economic chain is essential for the future of sports in the country.

The AFF remains continuously committed to cooperating with state institutions in the fight against informality and smuggling, as part of a broader effort to ensure a sustainable environment for Albanian sport.
