Temperatures up to 40 degrees / Prefect Nertil Jole convenes the Civil Emergencies structures

Prefect Nertil Jole announces:

"Following the notification received from the National Civil Protection Agency, based on the forecasts of the Institute of Geosciences which warn that in the coming days temperatures in our country will reach up to 40 degrees, I held a meeting with the Civil Emergencies Officers and the heads of the Fire Protection and Rescue Service structures of the six Local Government Units of our district.

Preparatory measures, timely identification, signaling, and response to situations that may arise, as well as the activation of volunteer groups, are extremely important in order to facilitate intervention and minimize the potential consequences of fires, relying on local operational capacities without the need to mobilize central resources.

All structures, including those of the Regional Directorate of the National Agency of Protected Areas and the State Police, are on full alert to ensure a quick response to any reported fire incident.
