The issue of the truck drivers stranded in Qafë Thanë has been resolved.

Sources near the border crossing point stated that the General Directorate of Customs contacted the authorities of North Macedonia, who will allow the trucks to return to Qafë Thanë and provide them with a document enabling passage through the Bllatë border crossing. From there, they can continue via the Arbër road to their destinations.

For four days, dozens of truck drivers had been stranded in Qafë Thanë and near Hotolisht due to road damage in Dragostunjë.

A day ago, they even issued an appeal to the Albanian state for assistance, as they were in a difficult situation.
