Following Adela Kondakçi, the former financial officer who became a justice collaborator, another key witness has turned against Ajola Xoxa and Erion Veliaj.

G. S., investigated as part of the case file involving Erion Veliaj, had initially taken responsibility for the sum of €220,000 found in the offices of “Partners Law,” the legal firm owned by Ajola Xoxa.

However, his stance has since changed. According to documents obtained from the prosecution, G. S. has revised his statement and is now cooperating with SPAK (the Special Anti-Corruption Structure).

When questioned about the €220,000 seized at “Partners Law,” G. S. denied ever paying or ordering such an amount in cash. The indictment further states that G. S. admitted the circumstances outlined in the deposit contract were false.

He also revealed that drafting and signing the contract was a favor requested by Ajola Xoxa, a favor he accepted without knowing that the contract would later be presented in court and to the prosecution.

G. S. clarified that he did not draft the contract, despite having signed it, and was never informed why Ajola Xoxa needed the agreement.

It is worth recalling that Ajola Xoxa had reportedly made several maneuvers through the “Partners Law” firm to conceal earnings allegedly gained through a clear conflict of interest.

In February 2021, Ajola Xoxa filed a decision with the National Business Center (QKB), transferring all shares of “Partners Law” to Greta Domi, although the agreement between them had been signed back in January 2019, by handwritten contract. This late filing, two years after signing, has raised serious suspicions.

Despite this, Xoxa continued to serve as the administrator of the company.

Furthermore, according to findings revealed in the court decision, “Gogel,” a company owned by Arbër Veliaj (reportedly a relative of Erion Veliaj), had transferred significant amounts of money to “Partners Law.”
