Former Democratic MP Myslim Murrizi has fired back at economics expert Arben Malaj after Malaj criticized him for not resigning when the Democratic Party removed tax inspectors during the launch of investigations into the Ballsh Oil Refinery.

Through a post on social media, Murrizi spoke harshly about Malaj’s past, claiming he obtained his academic degree in economics through the pyramid schemes and that his parliamentary mandate was secured thanks to gangs.

Murrizi further alleged that Malaj’s reactions are motivated only by a salary he receives from businessman Irfan Hysenbelliu.

Murrizi’s reaction:

Looks like Ben Malaj blew his gasket, and the oil leak burned out his own engine and the gearbox of a few news portals as well.

I’m not heroic, Ben Malaj, but I’m not “pyramidal” like you either. And modestly speaking, I say I’m not heroic but in comparison to you, Ben, I actually am. You earned your 'professor' title from Lefter Cenaj’s pyramid scheme, while I was shutting down the Xhaferri pyramid foundation.

I wasn’t an MP in 2005, Ben Malaj. I was only in parliament from 1997 to 2001 when gangs made you an MP while in my area, I didn’t bow down to PS gangs or to those useless “rescue committees” that commanded you around like a football.

And you know well I didn’t bow to you either back in March 1997, when you wanted to fire me as deputy tax director, and I told you: you’re a minister without votes and I don’t give a damn. If you’ve forgotten maybe because you’ve gotten a bit soft lately ask Flor Mima.

I wasn’t an MP in 2005, Ben Malaj. But since I’m not the type to lick up to party leaders, I ran as an independent in the famous Dushk constituency in 2001 that deal you made with Meta, Nano, and Kaç Islami when you and Celibashi at the CEC stole my mandate, and Celibashi was chosen again in 2020 by Lul Basha.

To set the record straight, Ben Malaj Murrizi was not an MP in 2005. Before you spout nonsense for a paycheck from Irfan, ask Bode (your former colleague at the Bank of Albania) or write to Berisha to check, because during 1997–2001 when I was an MP, Alamudhi of the pyramid schemes was calling you up.

I wasn’t an MP in 2005, Ben Malaj (Cenaj). If I had been, I would have spoken about you as the former Minister of Finance who sold off all the pyramid scheme assets with Farudin Arapi for pennies.

I wasn’t an MP in 2005, Ben Malaj. If I had been, I would have talked about Bankers Petroleum, which you and Nano’s government handed to the Canadians in 2004 before leaving power the same way you handed NCBA to the Turks, Telekom, Kurum, and filled your pockets.

After 1997–2001, I became an MP again from 2017–2021, Ben Malaj, and I came to the Economy Committee in 2019 when you were removed from the Supervisory Council of the Bank of Albania to defend you, because Rama and your party were after you.

And when I was an MP, Ben Malaj, from 2017–2021, I spoke about Bankers already back in 2019, six years ago, and I said exactly what has now come out in the open — that at Bankers all the filth of politics has been dumped, including you, Ben Hysenbelliu.

I’m also very surprised by some “port-holes” that write the ravings of patients without verifying them, and I even got a good laugh from the bombastic headline of a portal that said: “Former Socialist Party minister puts Murrizi in his place.”

Oh, you dishonorable “port-holes”:

Ministers and former ministers of this kind can’t put Murrizi in his place they can only raise his c…ourage, because Murrizi has never signed contracts, never signed tenders, never worked for the 1995 pyramid firms, doesn’t work for the 2025 pyramid firms, never taken tenders, and never given tenders.

Therefore, before making news out of the nonsense of fools with academic titles like “Prof. Cr.” and gold chains, for the sake of a salary, it wouldn’t hurt to verify some of the political patients’ idiocies.

As the saying goes:

A man has plenty of time to disgrace himself, right up until he dies.

So long, Ben Malaj, and if you’re expecting condolences in September since now I’m on vacation I’ll come for a visit.

Murrizi, Ben Malaj (Hysenbelliu), doesn’t give a damn about any swindler or petty thief, whether in politics, government, business, justice, or media, and doesn’t bark for a paycheck for any clown padrino by slandering shamelessly.

But since you’re on a medical “report” and are an economic vassal, I won’t sue you in court as a fraud, because I know very well the court doesn’t take into account what comes out of the mouths of those who have an oil leak.

Live well, Ben Malaj, and may God give you strength for the great loss of what distinguishes man from beast the mind.

There’s no greater shame than seeing those who supposedly governed Albania turn into lapdogs of those who have stolen the property of Albanians.

I will still speak about Bankers, Ben Malaj, and about every affair I know of, because you have raised my c…ourage so much that I don’t know where to unload all this energy your owl-like call on behalf of Irfan has given me.
