Awareness meetings continue as part of the nationwide campaign against gender-based violence.

As part of the awareness campaign "16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence," the Community Policing Assistant Specialist of the Korçë Police Station, the Family Violence Specialist of the Korçë Police Directorate, and the Family Violence Coordinator of Korçë Municipality held two meetings aimed at informing and educating participants on the legal and psychosocial aspects of phenomena such as domestic violence and gender-based violence.

The first meeting was held with students and teaching staff of "Themistokli Gërmenji" High School, while the second meeting took place with students of "Fan Noli" University in Korçë.

Participants were informed about the institutional framework that protects the rights of girls and women and supports the socio-economic reintegration of victims of domestic violence or other criminal phenomena.

During the discussions, special attention was given to inter-institutional cooperation, aiming at a comprehensive approach to cases of violence against women and girls, not just the penal aspect.

Informative and awareness-raising meetings as part of this campaign will continue.
